About the Team & Office

Based in Mackay, this role brings SCA’s brands to life locally, working closely with the Content team to deliver engaging audience experiences across live activations, branding, digital and social channels. Mackay offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with easy access to beaches and the Whitsundays, alongside the chance to make a real impact in a close‑knit, creative team.

A day in the life?

You’ll work closely with the Content Director and Product team to plan and deliver engaging audience experiences that drive ratings. Your day will involve managing brand experience activity end to end — from on air execution and digital promotions to live events, activations and prize fulfilment.
You’ll juggle campaigns, budgets, resources and airtime, work with the digital team to bring promotions to life online, and ensure everything runs smoothly, compliantly and on brand. You’ll also lead and support the local Brand Experience team, helping deliver creative experiences that truly resonate with the local audience.

What You’ll Need

• Extensive experience and knowledge of radio/media promotions, marketing, branding, PR, digital media and/or social media strategy
• In depth knowledge of content, sales and promotions in the radio/media industry including an understanding of the business benefits of integration across all platforms
• Excellent people and resource management skills
• Successful track record leading, motivating and inspiring complex teams; leading teams towards the delivery of creative solutions
• Ability to provide creative and practical solutions to meet Sales briefs and Content development needs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to deal with staff and clients at all levels
• Keen interest in news, popular culture and current affairs relevant to SCA’s audiences
