Job Description

The PWEB Content Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day stability, accuracy, and compliance of the bank’s websites, across 5 domains. The candidate will be at the frontline of publishing urgent updates, including crisis communications, regulatory announcements, which has serious business, customer, and reputational impact. The role demands someone highly skilled in web content management and technically proficient, with the resilience to handle long hours, rotational standby duty, and urgent updates during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

The candidate must coordinate and manage multiple stakeholders — business, technology, communications, operations, and compliance — faced with conflicting demands, under extreme time pressure.

Job scope

  • Manage and publish daily website updates with absolute accuracy
  • Support time-sensitive and crisis-related communications, often with little lead time
  • Ensure all content meets brand, compliance, and regulatory standards
  • Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, communications, operations, and compliance teams
  • Manage multiple requests simultaneously, ensuring approvals and alignment before publishing
  • Navigate high-pressure situations where stakeholder demands must be balanced against operational realities
  • Participate in a rotational standby/on-call schedule to provide 24/7 publishing support
  • Respond promptly to incident-related updates, ensuring timely and accurate customer communication
  • Support live verification and deployments during evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Lead operational aspects of content migrations, CMS upgrades, and platform changes, ensuring continuity of critical web services
  • Validate migrated content, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions during system cutovers
  • Uphold strict publishing workflows, escalation protocols, and governance standards
  • Take full accountability for ensuring customer-facing content is correct, complete, and compliant
  • Apply deep CMS expertise and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript to handle advanced content requirements and troubleshoot issues in real-time
  • Optimize website content for accessibility, SEO, performance, and mobile responsiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or related field.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise web content management and digital publishing.
  • Strong technical proficiency in CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager preferred; Sitecore, Drupal also considered).
  • Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript for advanced content troubleshooting and rapid updates.
  • Proven experience working in high-pressure publishing environments with critical operational responsibilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail, resilient, calm, and decisive under extreme pressure, able to manage multiple urgent requests simultaneously
  • Flexible and committed to working beyond working hours to provide 24x7 support
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of managing conflicting demands from multiple business and technology teams under tight timelines
  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
  • Prior involvement in crisis communications, incident response, or 24/7 operational support
  • Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and responsive web design.
  • Experience supporting system cutovers, content migrations, or large-scale enterprise web operations.
