Role Summary

This Associate will play a key role within the Asset Management (AM) Marketing
team, reporting to the Head of Marketing in Japan. We are seeking a driven and
entrepreneurial individual to lead marketing strategies for both retail and
institutional clients. Working closely with global and local product and sales
teams, the Associate will drive the go-to-market strategy in Japan, leveraging
messaging strategy, content creation, digital marketing, events, sponsorships,
and social media to create end-to-end campaigns and programs in service of the
business's commercial objectives. The Associate will partner with client-facing
business teams to understand commercial objectives and set marketing strategies
that fuel business growth within this critical segment. The role will also focus
on building strategic partnerships and delivering relevant marketing initiatives
that align with the unique needs, preferences, and engagement strategies of
Japanese clients.

Position Responsibilities

  • Content Production: Adopt a creative approach to content marketing for
    expanding online channels, including digital-centric content production such
    as websites and videos.
  • Marketing Strategy Planning: Develop and execute of strategic marketing plans
    to drive brand awareness and support product sales across Japan all channels.
    Partner with sales, investment, and product teams to oversee the development
    and maintenance of product-specific marketing collateral, including emails,
    sales materials, website content, and fund videos. Measure and track
    marketing impact, and work with the Sales team to continuously optimize and
    evolve strategies.
  • Partnership and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with
    global AM Marketing colleagues, Executive Office, Corporate Communications,
    Compliance, Legal, Sales and Investment teams, and key stakeholders across
    the global organization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Approximately more than 3 years of experience in a similar role within an
    asset management firm or leading financial institution.
  • Ideally have knowledge of the asset management industry, including clients,
    products, regulations, and competitors.
  • An understanding of all marketing media, including digital, events, social
    media, and print collateral.
  • Experience in video production and design work. Proficiency in Adobe
    Products (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign) is preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities with a keen eye
    for visual design and a creative mindset.
  • Translating complex themes into simple output.
  • Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure while
    maintaining extremely high standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in English is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS).
