About the role

As an Activation Manager across the Spotlight Retail Group portfolio, you’ll lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of programmatic activity, ensuring strong integration with other digital and offline channels. You’ll play a key role in client engagement, mentoring and managing a growing team, and delivering innovative, data-led media solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead programmatic strategy and campaign management, integrating insights from other digital channels.
  • Develop integrated, data-led recommendations aligned with client briefs and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain productive partnerships with key media and technology partners.
  • Foster strong client relationships and ensure campaign delivery, reporting, and clear communication.
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to innovation and best practice.
  • Oversee quality control from campaign set-up to reporting.
  • Support team development through training, feedback, and ongoing education.

What sets you up for success

  • Proven experience in programmatic media (CM360, DV360, The Trade Desk, Google Ads/YouTube).
  • Strong understanding of paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability, initiative, and a passion for continuous learning.
