A Quick Snapshot of the Role: As an Account Manager your role involves overseeing the development and output of the Account Executive, managing the planning, booking, tracking, and performance of all media activities.

 

Collaborating closely with the team’s trader and internal specialist units, you will ensure that campaigns meet and exceed expectations for all client activities. You will also be actively engaged in all facets of client planning, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of client needs, objectives, and market dynamics to contribute strategically to the development and execution of effective plans.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Foster and manage day-to-day client relationships through regular face-to-face meetings and open communication channels
  • Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of projects and campaign management
  • Capable of taking the lead and owning the relationship with smaller clients with minimal involvement from the Account Director and other senior team members
  • Provide guidance and assistance to junior team members, including regular meetings to support the delivery of their performance goals, and the ongoing development of identified competencies
  • Develop innovative and integrated media plans to support the client’s business strategies
  • Brief media owners, evaluate responses in line with client objectives and provide feedback to media owners
  • Present recommendations, reports and other deliverables to clients of all levels
  • Build relationships with key media partners and internal specialist units to stay updated on industry knowledge.
  • Manage media negotiations, planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Assist in client forecasting, end-of-month billing, and financial discrepancies

  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise with industry planning and reporting technologies (Roy Morgan, ASTEROID5, Fusion, ETAM, ERAM and Microsoft Office). In-depth knowledge of industry ad products, rich media, specifications, file formats, etc.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a media agency or similar field, with experience across both offline and digital media channels and managing direct reports.
