THE ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Director to join our Sydney Agency Sales Team, working on an established portfolio of media agencies and national advertisers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated media sales professional who wants to work within one of Sydneyโ€™s most successful media sales teams. This is a territory that requires someone with tenacity, persistence and a love of closing the deal! This is a high-profile role within a team that prides itself on being collaborative, innovative and having a growth mindset.

What you will be doing and what skills you may have:

In summary:

  • Collaboration with key NE stakeholders to drive winning ideation and content led All of Audio integration solutions as well as selling these solutions to your clients
  • Strategic and growth focused management of priority agencies through utilising the full Nova Entertainment ecosystem
  • Identify and create new business opportunities that drive growth relevant to agency opportunities and our underperforming channels
  • Commitment to achieving monthly & quarterly targets with an ability to develop tactics to ensure personal and client success
  • Build and deliver targeted agency & client engagement initiatives to build and foster relationships within your agencies. High visibility, socialisation and business centric relationships are an expectation of our Account Directors. Engagement includes both relationship building activities, as well as initiatives that effectively promote and sell our products, all our engagement must demonstrate an ROI and business opportunity.
  • Ability to multi-task and project manage competing tasks
  • Passion about audio, the industry, creativity and delivering top quality work and outcomes for clients
  • Strong and consistent communicator and negotiator

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • An experienced and autonomous media salesperson with established market relationships in Sydney Holdcos.
  • A service gun, but also a biz dev minded rep.
  • Someone who is equally at home negotiating annual deals and tracking them as they are selling ideas.
  • Experience selling/planning All of Audio, and comfort in convergence.
  • Someone who can talk business outcomes not just media metrics.
