NOVA Entertainment has just that opportunity for you to join our Melbourne Agency Sales team as an Account Director. You will be responsible for seeking, developing and building on strong business relationships with existing and future partners within our major Advertising Agency Clients. Reporting to the Head of Agency Sales, you will be joining a team that values good banter, loves AFL Finals, and likes to celebrate the wins. This team is highly collaborative and supportive of each other's successes with a culture that deeply values being our client's partner of choice for All of Audio Advertising. You will be reporting to a manager whose management style is as much or as little as you need with regular WIPS, weekly All Teams and who loves to get into market with you as get to know your patch.

The key responsibility is to generate and grow advertising revenue. To do this you will:

  • Conduct new client prospecting, research and presentations
  • Promote the features and benefits of NOVA Entertainment advertising solutions to new and existing clients
  • Build lasting relationships with stakeholders including the broader Nova Sales Teams, CREATE, Airtime, Podcasting, Technology, Digital Operations, Programming and Audience Engagement as well as your existing client group
  • Live and display the Companyโ€™s values
  • Be a trusted advisor and influencer within the industry
  • Have excellent communication skills, with an ability to prioritise workload and deal with last minute requirements with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, team oriented and adaptable
  • This role will suit someone with prior audio sales experience, and whilst digital sales experience is not essential, experience working with advertising agencies in the Melbourne market is desirable.
