IT Intern - Digital & Data Services

Job Description & Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic IT Intern to join our Digital and Data Services team. This internship offers hands-on experience in various IT functions including help desk support and administrative roles. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and ready to contribute to our IT department by assisting with technical support, administrative tasks that support our technology infrastructure.

Help Desk Support:

• Provide first-level technical support to employees experiencing hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical problems, guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
• Document support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Set up and configure laptops, and other IT equipment for new employees.

IT Administration:

• Support the IT team in maintaining inventory of equipment and software, support Asset team to manage IT equipment and documents.

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
