Position Details
While working for Rakuten Group, Inc. , you will be responsible for the COO support of Rakuten Mobile, Inc. You will be in charge of enhancing the organizational and competitive strength of the Rakuten Group and Rakuten Mobile, creating a mechanism for improving service quality and productivity, and planning and implementing cross-group measures.
- Example of business - Developing yearly operating plan
- Planning, designing and implementing Operation Governance
- Planning and operating of important meetings including executive committee
- Collecting, analyzing and materializing resolution actions of company’s issues and important agenda
- Project lead of Company-wide special taskforce (Planning, decision-making support, and implementation to resolve priority issues, etc.)
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in corporate planning or leading business-related projects at a business company for at least 3 years, or business-side (non-IT) project management experience at a consulting firm for at least 3 years
- Business level of English
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Fluent Japanese language skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in developing and implementing management models, business models, and new services
- Experience in planning and executing plans to enhance organizational strength and competitiveness, improve productivity, and improve management
- Experience in planning and managing important meetings such as board of directors meetings, management meetings, committee meetings, executive training camps, etc.
- Experience in planning and executing company-wide organizational reforms
- Experience in leading multinational members and promoting projects
- Experience in management consulting
- Experience in corporate planning and business development (alliances, M&A, etc.)
- Experience in the Internet service industry
