(Assistant) Digital Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
Work with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and project teams to understand business needs, rationale, and expected outcomes of digital initiatives
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements, process flows, user journeys, user stories, and acceptance criteria with guidance where required
Support the review and refinement of digital journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and functional requirements with relevant stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery, including requirement clarification, backlog refinement, sprint activities, and delivery discussions
Prepare and execute test cases including functional, non-functional, and UI testing; identify test data, capture evidence, and support defect follow-up and UAT activities
Support tracking and analysis of digital journey performance, including usage, conversion, and drop-off observations, and provide recommendations for improvement
Use digital and AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve research, documentation, analysis, and team productivity in line with governance requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
2-4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, digital, product, project delivery, or related areas; Less experienced candidate may be considered for Assistant Business Analyst
Fresh graduates with strong academic results, internship experience, project exposure, or demonstrated interest in digital business analysis are welcome
Basic understanding of requirement gathering, process mapping, user story preparation, testing, or digital delivery concepts
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology is an advantage
Good understanding of digital customer journeys and customer-centric thinking is an advantage
Exposure to AI tools or AI-enabled working methods for research, documentation, or productivity - Insurance or financial services experience is an advantage but not mandatory
