Hatched is an independent media agency established in Melbourne 11 years ago. Our Sydney office had been operating for a year. Hatched was created because we believe the media industry deserves better. We believe clients deserve better outcomes, and staff deserve better working conditions and opportunities.

We know the ins and outs of traditional media alongside the ever-evolving digital world. We know how to build digital campaigns independently, and also to work in symphony above-the-line to consistently deliver work that works for our clients.

Our offices in both Sydney and Melbourne are modern, fun and set up for both collaboration and quiet time. Our offices are dog friendly and close to some of the best that Windsor (Melb) and Surry Hills (Syd) has to offer; cafes, public transport, cinemas and importantly great bars and restaurants.
Over and above the great workspaces, Hatchlings get 5 paid wellbeing days per year and 2 days paid for volunteering. We offer flexibility, so you can work from anywhere, but we love to see you in the office a couple of days each week and every Tuesday for our all staff catch up. On the Thursday before payday, lunch is on us and we have another all staffer to share some more of the business type of news, or get out of our comfort zone with some interesting speakers from the industry and beyond.

A positive and inclusive culture is something we pride ourselves on at Hatched. We truly believe that culture is everyone’s responsibility, and so all staff got together to create a set of F-Words. They’re not swear words by the way! Our F words tell us how Hatchlings want to feel when they come to work. We all agreed we want to feel connected, appreciated, inspired, supported and to feel pride in our workplace and the work we do. - The Green Team keep us green, sustainable and moving towards a more environmentally friendly way of working
- The Shadow Board are a group of young stars who are empowered to be the voice of the agency and make recommendations for change to the executive team
- And lastly, the Hatched Social Committee plan the best events for our Hatchlings to keep us connected and inspired.
From being the prime movers in attention planning, retail media and the development of our world-class digital offering, Hatched ID, Hatched prides itself on being ahead of the game when it comes to innovation. We have specialists in all areas of data and tech, that not only embrace the newest and greatest for our clients, but develop them using best practices to solve the business needs of our clients.
Hatched’s approach to sustainability has been to go all in. This year, we partnered with My Net Zero to offset the emissions from our HQ in Melbourne, but we decided to go further. Our staff have full flexibility, which means that many of them are working from home for up to three days per week, so we decided to also offset everyone’s emissions at home for a full year. We also have a Green Team, dedicated to making our office greener and smarter. The make sure we’re taking our reusable cups to the cafe and introduce initiatives to make it easier for us to be a bit greener every day.
