Position Summary
The Student Communications and Engagement Coordinator (Level 7) provide
proactive, practical and efficient engagement, communications and administrative
support to the work unit. The position will support various engagement
activities and contribute to a successful marketing and communications strategy
in the work unit.
This role will:
- Implement the agreed student communications plan for the university by
achieving agreed outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve the
quality or efficacy of student communications and engagement. - Contribute to the development of content for student communications as it
relates to the deliverables of Division of Education and Student Experience - Develop content (according to UNSW style guide and meeting deadlines) for
online engagement, collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing
execution through various digital channels including editing, image sourcing
and design for publishing to social channels. - Liaise with stakeholders to ensure metrics including time, cost and quality
are being met within defined deliverables and deadlines. - Provide strategic and detailed support and advice to team and stakeholders.
- Ensure plans are managed consistently and adheres to UNSW governance
requirements. - Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the
university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or
omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and
experience:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and extensive project management
experience. - Proven experience in the development of project plans, objectives,
documentation and demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle. - Ability to influence stakeholders.
- Advanced level of computer literacy and skills in Microsoft Office
applications and project related databases and management systems.
