Sr Manager Demand Marketing & User Acquisition

This is a MATERNITY LEAVE cover role based in SYDNEY.

This role oversees the growth strategy and execution for paid growth channels of our streaming businesses, with the objective of reaching the number of subscribers, revenue and overall acquisition costs.

The role will manage the data driven full growth funnel marketing for OTT, based on rapid experimentation and validated learning. This role also champions the consumer journey for the D2C products within the streaming organization.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:

  • To drive audience acquisition and growth strategies.
  • Deliver the Growth goals around Subscribers, CAC, LTV, funnel efficiency, Churn and ARPU.
  • Work with International team around the development of the growth stack and analytics tools.
  • Manage third party agencies to successfully face demands and goals we can’t support with internal team members.
  • A/B testing coordination with the International Team.
  • Execute performance and growth activities to reach subscription acquisition.
  • Own and present to leadership key performance metrics around customer acquisition, cost per new customer, etc.

FUNCTIONS WILL INCLUDE:

  • Execution of strategy to grow user baser, including directly program campaigns for multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Google, etc.).
  • Tracking record of success and growth.
  • Developing, managing, innovating and leading strategies to grow user acquisition.
  • Leveraging opportunities for new initiatives, products and subscription services.
  • Implementing strategies that build audience and unlock growth.
  • Translating strategies, objectives and business targets into successful programs and campaigns using effective tactics and methodologies.
  • Maximising acquisition and campaign efficiencies across channels, partners, and platforms.
  • Analysing challenges and indentifying alternative solutions.
  • Developing, monitoring and constantly evaluating ROI.

What are the skills and experience required for this role?

  • Experience also in media and subscription would be a plus. Capacity to collaborate with different areas involved in the growth initiatives (Product, Marketing, BI, creative, content).
  • Experience in working with cross-functional and International teams
  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and delivery. Understanding of overall cross-platform attribution.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing analytics, tracking program performance, and testing results.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, proficiency in English essential

These skills would be advantageous:        

  • Knowledge in TV Content.
  • Entertainment market experience.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field
