Senior Test Analyst, Digital
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Test Analyst to deliver end-to-end (E2E) testing across
our digital applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the
quality, stability and security of our systems by owning testing activities from
requirements review through to execution and reporting. Reporting into the Test
Lead, you will work closely with project delivery, technology and business
stakeholders to ensure testing outcomes align to business expectations and
regulatory requirements.
What You’ll be Doing
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Deliver E2E testing services including requirements review, test planning,
test design, execution and defect management - Review business requirements, technical specifications, business process
flows and solution designs to identify gaps and risks - Create and maintain high-quality testing artefacts including:
- Test Plans
- Test Cases and Scripts
- Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM)
- Risk and priority-based testing analysis
- Test evidence and execution reporting
- Support SIT, UAT, Business Process and E2E testing activities
- Coordinate and support test execution with Business SMEs where required
Governance, Risk & Reporting
- Ensure testing considers end-to-end operational impacts and information
security requirements - Define and report on testing metrics, execution status, risks and issues
- Contribute to automated reporting and dashboard development
- Ensure accurate maintenance of test evidence, query logs and execution
results
Stakeholder & Delivery Engagement
- Work effectively within a distributed delivery model
- Build strong working relationships with Project Managers, Developers,
Technical Analysts, Solution Delivery and Business stakeholders - Communicate progress, risks, issues and recommendations clearly and
proactively
Continuous Improvement
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase testing
efficiency and effectiveness - Provide leadership and coaching through exemplary testing practices and
team-focused behaviours
About You
You are an experienced Senior Test Analyst who thrives in complex, fast-paced
financial services environments and brings a structured, risk-aware approach to
quality assurance.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in hybrid or native Mobile apps and Web manual testing,
testing digital solutions across SIT and UAT phases - Experience in API / Web services / Microservice testing is highly desirable,
along with knowledge of Swagger tool and its usage for webservice testing. - Strong capability in translating business and functional requirements into
effective test coverage - Experience in complex, high transaction environments such as banking,
superannuation or insurance - Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and propose
practical solutions - Ability to prioritise and deliver in a rapidly changing delivery environment
and to leverage business, product and functional requirements to create test
plans and test cases. - Ability to clearly communicate status, risks, issues and recommend corrective
actions to meet program and organizational objectives. - A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on
additional responsibility with strong stakeholder engagement and
communication skills.
Highly Desirable
- Experience in JavaScript, REACT framework
- Experience in Mobile Hybrid App (iOS and Android) automation testing
framework and tools such Appium, BrowserStack App Automate, Opentext Digital
Lab. - Experience in Web automation Tools such as Selenium, SOAP UI or others
- Certification in Domain/Testing/Delivery methodology like ISTQB, Agile, ASFA
