About the role

Are Media connects advertisers with Australia's most engaged audiences across an
iconic portfolio of women's brands - from The Australian Women's Weekly and
marie claire to Now to Love and beyond. As the country's largest women's media
company, the Advertising Sales team operates at the intersection of data,
technology and brand storytelling. This is a senior individual contributor and
influencing role for someone who wants their work to shape how a major media
business competes in an increasingly data-driven market.

Duties

  • Lead the strategy and execution of Are Media's AdTech stack, including SSP
    relationships, header bidding, and programmatic revenue optimisation
  • Own commercial first-party data technical advancement and delivery,
    translating our audience insights into market leading solutions
  • Act as the internal authority on identity solutions, contextual targeting,
    and post-cookie measurement frameworks
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Product to develop data-led packages and
    audience products that differentiate Are Media in market

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a senior AdTech, programmatic or audience data
    role within a publisher, agency or AdTech platform
  • Hands-on knowledge of SSPs, CDPs and programmatic supply-side operations
  • Understanding of privacy regulation in Australia (Privacy Act, APPs) for
    media and AdTech
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear commercial
    narratives for sales and client-facing teams
  • Experience working within a content-led or audience-first media environment
    is highly regarded at Are Media given the depth of its owned brand ecosystem
