About the Role
As a Senior Communications & Corporate Affairs Advisor in our Corporate Affairs
team, you'll protect and elevate Telstra Health's reputation across the health
sector — driving strategic communications, managing media, and shaping how
Australia's largest health technology company is seen and heard.
- This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover) with
preference for those based in Sydney on a hybrid working arrangement. You'll
sit within the Sales, Marketing & Communications function, reporting to the
Corporate Affairs and Communications Manager, and play a critical role
supporting Telstra Health's brand, communications, and corporate affairs
activities across government relations, policy, marketing, and events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Create compelling communications content across a variety of formats — media
releases, case studies, presentations, video, social media, newsletters, and
marketing collateral — to drive internal and external initiatives. - Monitor daily external media, manage issues as they arise, and draft reactive
and proactive responses for media opportunities, including crisis and
sensitive announcements. - Manage and grow Telstra Health's social media channels, implementing
strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness. - Work with and present to senior internal stakeholders, supporting thought
leadership profiling through events, articles, and media opportunities. - Coordinate internal and external events and webinars, aligning themes,
topics, and speakers with organisational strategy. - Develop and implement communications campaigns for key projects, product
launches, and important announcements. - Support corporate affairs activities including tender responses and
government/stakeholder engagement. - Drive culture and inclusivity initiatives across business units while
safeguarding brand reputation in the health sector.
