About the Team & Office
Based in our Brisbane office, the Research & Insights team partners closely with Sales, Commercial, Content and Leadership teams nationally. This role is a 12-15 month contract position.
This is a highly collaborative, insight‑driven group who are passionate about understanding audiences, uncovering consumer behaviour, and translating data into meaningful, real‑world impact for both clients and the broader business.
A day in the life?
As a Research & Insights Specialist, you’ll be a trusted expert within SCA working on complex research projects, uncovering audience insights, and helping teams make confident, evidence‑based decisions.
You’ll work with senior stakeholders and play a key role in supporting revenue growth through insight‑led storytelling and strategic analysis.
In this role, you will:
- Lead end‑to‑end research projects, including brand lift, creative testing, perceptual and tracking studies.
- Analyse radio, TV and industry data to interpret audience behaviour and consumer trends.
- Deliver clear, visually compelling research presentations that translate data into actionable insights.
- Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to support client strategy and market opportunity development.
What You’ll Need:
- 5+ years’ experience in media, agency or market research environments.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related discipline.
- Advanced experience with Nielsen, Roy Morgan, Sparq and other research tools.
- Strong analytical capability with a proven ability to turn data into commercially relevant insights.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and clients.
