About the Role
As a Producer in the Performing Arts Programming team within Creative
Communities, you'll coordinate the end-to-end delivery of a diverse program of
performances, events and creative projects at Bunjil Place. Working closely with
artists, clients, contractors and teams across the precinct, you'll translate
approved projects into clear plans, budgets and operational requirements,
keeping delivery on track from pre-production through to presentation and
evaluation. It's a hands-on role for someone who combines creative thinking,
strong organisation and calm, practical problem-solving.
What You’ll deliver
- Deliver and coordinate a diverse program of performing arts events and
creative projects from planning through to execution. - Manage project plans, budgets, risk assessments and operational requirements
to ensure successful event delivery. - Liaise with artists, clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to create
exceptional event experiences. - Monitor project performance, documentation and compliance with organisational
policies and procedures. - Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement to enhance
programs, processes and audience outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience producing arts, cultural or live events, with the ability to
manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Strong project management, planning and budgeting skills, with exceptional
attention to detail. - Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability
to build positive relationships quickly. - A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to troubleshoot
challenges as they arise. - A genuine passion for the arts, creativity and delivering outstanding
audience experiences. - Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National
Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work
check, and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
