Purpose of the Role

As a Meida Strategist (Travel Seller), you will partner closely with travel industry clients to manage and optimize the success of advertising campaigns. In this client-facing role, you will guide customers across the full campaign journey—from designing strategic media plans and onboarding through to campaign execution, performance improvement, and reporting.
This position blends strategy, creativity, analytics, and collaboration. We are seeking someone who enjoys building relationships, interpreting marketing data to provide clear insights, and ensuring clients achieve their goals. Experience in consultative communication, organization, and campaign management will help you thrive in this role. Familiarity with marketing principles is important; knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and the hospitality industry adds value, though interest and ability to learn are equally welcome.

In this role, you'll:

  • Client Partnership & Strategic Consulting
Act as the main point of contact and trusted resource for assigned clients.
Conduct performance reviews and business discussions to translate campaign data into actionable insights.
Share strategic recommendations and campaign updates through calls, emails, and presentations, occasionally meeting in person.
Build strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Campaign Management & Performance Optimization
Design media plans aligned with client goals and business objectives.
Lead onboarding, including campaign setup, creative coordination, and launch processes.
Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using reporting tools, market insights, and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) metrics.
Deliver actionable strategies to improve campaign outcomes and client value.
Create compelling advertising content (copy and visuals) following best practices.
Identify new opportunities to enhance results, increase value, and strengthen partnerships.
  • Collaboration & Industry Development
Partner with colleagues to explore new opportunities in Global Distribution System (GDS) media.
Share knowledge and champion best practices within the team.
Stay updated on market trends and innovation opportunities to support overall growth.

Relevant Experience:

Typically 3+ years of experience in Media, digital marketing, advertising, media or related roles (or equivalent practical experience).
Exposure to Global Distribution Systems (GDS) or willingness to learn travel technology platforms is valued.
Client-facing experience with a focus on relationship building and providing strategic insights.
Background in project coordination or management, with skills in organization, prioritization, and clear communication.
Familiarity with marketing performance concepts and digital advertising metrics; experience in hospitality, travel, or tourism is a plus.
Relevant Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related area—or equivalent experience.
Applicants must hold a valid work permit to be eligible for consideration.
