Conference Producer
About the role :
Researching relevant business and legal issues for high-quality conference targeting the legal market
Developing programs and sourcing content for Thomson Reuters legal media group event portfolio, including writing agendas and confirming speakers
Responsible for onsite delivery and management of events across Asia
Identifying spaces in the market and developing events of various types in order to take advantage of these gaps
Understanding database limitations and identifying strategies to overcome this
Arranging email and mailing campaigns, and carrying these out in order to maximise event attendance
Partner with Field Sales to staff events, and/or document sales and distribute leads
Support initiatives and corporate priorities by planning, coordinating, implementing and analyzing trade show marketing and event activities
About you :
Educated to Degree level or higher wuth minimum 5 years’ experience in a conference, event or research role
Able to demonstrate strong research abilities and quickly understand a wide range of topics
Focus on time management and ability to focus on a number of different projects at any one time
Ability to work and think independently of a team
Have managed entire projects at scale and/or portfolios, and/or grown commercial events/products from scratch
Highly competent in research via the internet and interviews with experts
Ability to write strong marketing and promotional copy for events and conferences
Knowledge of the legal industry in SE Asia is beneficial but not essential. #LI-TL1
