About ClearAds

ClearAds is part of Free TV Australia, the industry body for commercial free-to-air television broadcasters. We provide review, classification and information services to advertisers, broadcasters, agencies and production companies for advertisements across all advertising platforms.

We're located in the North Sydney CBD, within a short walk to the Metro/train station and provide flexible and hybrid work from home arrangements.

About the Job

The role of the Classifier includes reviewing advertisements to ensure they meet requirements relevant to advertising on television and other platforms including radio, digital, print, social media and website content. Knowledge of advertising compliance issues would be highly regarded but not essential.

The ClearAds Classifier has responsibility for:

  • reviewing advertisements and assessing content for compliance and classification
  • ensuring advertisements comply with relevant regulatory requirements
  • reviewing pre-production concepts for advertisers and agencies in relation to relevant regulatory requirements
  • managing workflow with consideration to time constraints
  • using an in-house database system to manage workflow
  • working with advertisers and agencies to address their enquiries
  • working on special projects when required

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in law, business or similar (Highly Desired)
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • You work well in a team environment and contribute and share ideas
  • You have strong time management skills and can think outside the box
  • You are focused, love to learn and are adaptable

The position would be ideal for a recent graduate in law/arts or commerce/business/marketing.
