About the role

Are Media is currently looking for a talented Account Manager to join our Classifieds Advertising team.

This position requires an enthusiastic, tenacious and dedicated outbound telephone sales person that can build and maintain client relationships and grow new business revenue. Your prior experience will be required to manage existing client relationships, as well as capture new business and this will be achieved by offering client focused advertising solutions across multiple brands

Duties

  • Source leads and acquire new business through high volume outbound telephone calls
  • Maintain, Develop and grow new business and re-activate lapsed business
  • Liaise with customer base to establish the customer’s expectations and requirements
  • Acquire a good working knowledge of the customers’ business and goals and book long term
  • Provide superior product and market knowledge to fulfil customer commitments

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous outbound telephone sales experience preferable
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
  • Creativity, motivation and enthusiasm, as well as an intrinsic drive to win business and never give up attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
